KEITH-ALBEE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

Built in 1928 and seating nearly 3,000 patrons, the Keith-Albee exemplifies the opulence and grandeur of the 1920s with a Mexican Baroque style, intricate woodwork, chandeliers, and balconies.

A Victorian jewel built in 1850, the Towngate, with seating up to 166, maintains the beauty and architectural integrity of the building in what was once the nave of Zion Lutheran Church.

The Robey began exhibiting motion pictures in 1907 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is believed to be the oldest, continuously operating movie theater in the country.

Built in 1909, the Opera House became the first motion picture theatre with sound in West Virginia in 1928 and is now dedicated to showing the best of foreign and American independent films on the silver screen.

Built by Warner Brothers (H.M., Major Albert, and J.L.) as part of the old “studio system,” the Warner has been exhibiting films since 1931. The exquisite interior showcases classic Art Deco and grand architectural styles.
