A&E television network has announced a SPECIAL
PRESENTATION: WE ARE MARSHALL, which gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at
the making of the movie that tells the tragic story of the 75 members of the
The movie stars Matthew McConaughey and Matthew Fox
and recounts the terrible crash and how the people of Huntington, West
Virginia, came together to cope with the disaster. The program includes
interviews with coaches and players who missed the plane that fateful night, as
well as with the families and friends of those who died. The film shot for
three weeks earlier this year on location in
A&E SPECIAL PRESENTATION: WE ARE MARSHALL is scheduled to premiere on
December 21 at 11:00 pm / 3:00 am ET.
